7:00 AM: Departure from the hotel in a comfortable minibus. Transfer to the beautiful port fishing town of Nuweiba, whose main inhabitants are Bedouins involved in fishing, will leave no one indifferent. You will be able to see the panorama of the city and the lagoon. Next, you will transfer to jeeps and go on an exciting Jeep safari through the sandy dunes of the hot Sinai desert, to the beginning of one of the most beautiful canyons in Sinai.
A walk through the canyon to the Wadi El Washwash valley, where you can see the canyon's multi-million-year history in cross-section: multicolored granite and basalt rock layers penetrate the cliffs and form an incredible spectacle. Another wonder of nature will be revealed to you – Lake «Veshvashi» (Whispering Lake), lost among the rocks. You will learn from your accompanying guide about its unique origin. You will have the opportunity to swim in the lake (according to legend, it fulfills a cherished dream). The water in the lake remains cool even in the hottest weather.
After returning from the canyon, you’ll head to Abu Galum Marine National Reserve, located near the town of Dahab (the Golden City). In Abu Galum, you can enjoy the beauty and diversity of the Red Sea’s underwater world by snorkeling along the world-famous «Dive Canyon,» which is 200 meters long (a wetsuit is required—3$! Fins and masks are also required; if needed, you can rent them). For those who don’t want to swim, you can take a walk along the shore, enjoy the breeze and stunning scenery, and take amazing photos. Or, settle comfortably on cushions in a tent right by the seashore, watch the sea wash over the colorful rocks of the shoreline, and observe divers from all over the world as they explore the famous underwater canyon.
Here, on the very shore of the Gulf of Aqaba, a hot lunch will be served to you (drinks are extra). On the way back, you will visit the city of Dahab, the «Golden City,» and its colorful «Eastern Bazaar,» unlike any other city in Egypt, in the Hippie style (which was the reason for the development of the small Bedouin village and the worldwide popularity of Dahab). Return to Sharm El Sheikh around 7:00 PM.
