A 2-day excursion to Cairo is a unique opportunity to discover one of the most extraordinary metropolises in Africa and take away an unforgettable experience.

Day 1

Departure from the hotel at 01:00 am. In a comfortable air-conditioned car you will go to Cairo, the journey will take about 6 hours. The tour will begin with a visit to the Egyptian National Museum - which is the unsurpassed custodian of the largest archaeological collection in the world, relating to all historical periods of ancient Egypt to the Greco-Roman period. The collection includes about 160,000 artifacts, including the contents of Tutankhamen's tomb and mummies. Optional! A trip along the Nile on a Felucca sailboat - $ 10. 45 minutes for relaxation and fantastic photos, away from the noise of the city.

Lunch at a panoramic position in a restaurant by the Nile River. After lunch, you will go to where time stops, to the symbol of Egypt - the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. There are more than 100 pyramids in Egypt, but the most famous are the Pyramids of Giza, which are considered the first wonder of the world of all time. Giza is a suburb of Cairo that enjoys worldwide fame. You will visit the papyrus museum, where you will be told and shown how papyrus was made in ancient times or a factory of aromas and oils. After the excursion program, accommodation on a 4 * Cruise ship on the Nile River. Where dinner will be waiting for you, an entertainment program with national shows and relaxation in cozy cabins. During the evening program, the liner sails from the pier and you can admire the lights of the night city from the open deck.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, you will go to Old Cairo: on the territory of the Old City, the oldest Coptic churches (St. George's Church and Monastery, St. Paul's Church, Hanging Church), the Coptic Museum, the Babylonian Fortress, the Ben-Ezra Synagogue are located. Islamic Cairo: visit the ancient Islamic street called El Muez. The street is famous for the El Hussein Mosque, in which one of the grandsons of the Prophet Mohamed is buried, as well as the oldest religious school in the Islamic world - El Azhar University. Next, you will have lunch at the restaurant. After lunch and rest, you will go to Saladin's Citadel. The citadel in Cairo is a unique military building, in the true Ottoman style, within the walls of which there are several objects significant for Egypt. In addition to the fact that there is the most beautiful, world-famous Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque, there are also 3 palaces and 2 museums within its walls.

And of course, no one will be left indifferent, a visit and the opportunity to shop in one of the world's largest 'oriental bazaars' Khan El-Khalili in Old Cairo. At the end of the second sightseeing day - the way back to Sharm and at about 23:30 you will be at your hotel.
