16:00 Check out of the hotel. Welcome to the Gardens by the Bay! This superpark is home to over a quarter of a million rare plants, covers about 101 hectares, and is located right in the city center, in the Marina Bay area! Plants from all continents except Antarctica are gathered in the garden. You will visit the «Flower Dome» – a world of eternal spring where unique plants bloom year-round! This conservatory simulates the cold, dry climate of the Mediterranean and the temperate subtropical climate of South Africa and California. Wander among ancient olive trees, giant date palms, and unusual baobabs. Enjoy the incredible fragrances of the «Flower Field,» where flowers are planted according to the seasons, symbolizing different holidays and festivals. Next, you will visit the «Cloud Forest» conservatory, where the microclimate of tropical highlands is recreated. Admire the world's tallest artificial waterfall (35m) and the flora of Southeast Asia, Central and South America. You will see fantastic structures – «supertrees» – from 25 to 50 meters high. Each «supertree» is a vertical botanical garden where you can find tropical climbing flowers, ferns, and bromeliads. You will get a view of the botanical garden, the city, and the famous Marina Bay Sands hotel. During the day, the crowns of the «supertres» provide shade for the entire garden, and in the evening, they come alive in a fantastic light and music show, which you will have the pleasure of enjoying. Return to the hotel around 19:30.
