Description

A rich tour revealing the multi-layered culture and spirituality of the region. You will visit ancient temples, monasteries, see Buddhist rituals, cultural rites and local traditions, as well as get a chance to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of nature and silence.

Program:

You depart from your hotel in the morning or afternoon, depending on the option.

During the tour:

  • A visit to the Karen long-necked women's village - learning about traditions, clothing, legends, women's crafts.
  • Visit to Wat Yansangvararam Monastery: a relaxing walk around the grounds, exploring the architecture and history.
  • Museum of wax figures of enlightened monks.
  • Lotus lake and ritual "Purification of karma": 200 steps for spiritual uplift, feeding fish, releasing living beings into the water - optional.
  • Golden Buddha Mountain - Khao Chi Chan is a huge golden Buddhist image carved into the rock.
  • If the option with contact zoo is selected - a visit to the zoo is added, the opportunity to interact with the animals.
  • If "Funeral of Failures" ritual is included - participate in the ceremony with blessings and mantra recitation.
