Stone Town, Turtle Island and Nakupenda Island

8:00 check-out from the hotel and depart for Stone Town harbor. Upon arrival at Stone Town, the group transfers to a boat around 9:00 and proceed to Turtle Island, also named Prison or Changu. The boat ride takes 40 minutes. Part of the land is occupied by a sanctuary of giant land turtles, the oldest of which has reached two hundred years of age. Turtle feeding and free time. On the second half there are buildings of the former prison, from where now there are breathtaking landscapes. At 11:00 we leave for Nakupenda Island, the epitome of seafarers' tales of land appearing and disappearing. The picturesque sandy spit is as if created for spectacular photos and romantic rest. 11:30-14:30 swimming, rest and seafood lunch on the island. Around 14:30 it will be time for the island to go under water and we will go by boat to Stone Town. The trip will take about 40 minutes. 15:10 Start of Stone Town tour. Colorful architecture, absorbed Arab, Indian, English and German traditions, inexpressible atmosphere and the house where the famous Freddie Mercury was born (entrance on request, price 10$ per person) - all this and much more awaits on the tour of the capital of Zanzibar. 19:00 return to the hotel.
