4:00 am check-out from the hotel. The drive will take approximately 3.5 hours one way. The Monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul are the oldest Christian monasteries in the World, founded in the fourth century AD among the cliffs of Galal Al-Kibliya. Both monasteries are considered sacred to the Coptic Church in Egypt. Today it is home to more than 100 monks. You will see the library of St. Anthony, its medieval paintings. The library contains valuable ancient manuscripts. The Monastery of St. Paul was built over the cave of St. Paul. He lived in the 4th century AD. He preferred the ascetic life in the desert to the comforts of the city and dedicated his life to the worship of God. Legend has it that God himself sent him bread and his grave was dug by lions after he died at the age of 105. This ancient Egyptian heritage is worth seeing for everyone. Return trip to Hurghada. 19:00 return to the hotel.
