Masai Mara 2 days

Description

Day 1

We will pick you up early from your hotel or Nairobi airport. We start at 5am - get in a 4×4 jeep and drive to Kenya's most popular reserve, the Masai Mara. On the way we will enjoy the colorful views of African nature in the rays of the rising sun. For breakfast we will stop in the town of Narok. After refreshment we will continue our journey. From the auto we will see the local homesteads and perhaps meet Maasai herders in their colorful outfits looking after herds of domestic animals.

In the afternoon, we will arrive on site. A non-stop safari, lunch, rest awaits us - all in a world famous park that hosts the Great Animal Migration from July to September! If we're lucky, we'll just about see huge herds of zebra and antelope! While exploring the area we will be able to meet elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and almost a hundred other mammals. During the safari, we will picnic near the Mara River where we will observe the behavior of animals crossing the river, crocodiles, and other predators stalking their prey. Dinner and overnight stay - right in the Masai Mara Park - in a lodge or campsite.

Day 2

Today we wake up early, as the world of wildlife is especially beautiful and curious during dawn! We go on safari, take a break for breakfast, and then explore again the territory of the protected habitats of countless wild animals and birds. Optional optional excursion to the village of the Maasai tribe, where we will get acquainted with the representatives of this African people, learn about their culture and traditions.

Want something unusual? Book a hot air balloon ride as an optional extra! You will meet the sunrise while soaring over the park, where the wildlife will just be waking up. Tell the guide in advance about your wish and we will organize everything. After one last drive through the reserve and photographing these amazing places, we will say goodbye to Masai Mara and return to Nairobi. On the way we will make a stop at a lookout point where we will have an impressive view of the Great Rift Valley. Toward evening we will be in place - taking you to the airport, hotel, or, if you wish, to the Tanzanian border.
