Description

Embark on an intense two-day journey through some of Sri Lanka's most beautiful places. This tour combines natural wonders, atmospheric towns, tea plantations and a unique experience - breakfast next to elephants.
In two days you'll see the island's famous mountain scenery, ride the legendary train among tea plantations and visit ancient sacred sites.

Day 1

• Ravana waterfall
  One of the most beautiful natural attractions of the island. The waterfall is surrounded by dense jungle and is associated with the ancient legends of Sri Lanka.
• Nine Arch Bridge
  The famous railroad bridge amidst tea plantations. One of the most photogenic places in the country.
• Little Adam's Peak
  Easy climb to a panoramic point with stunning views of mountain valleys and tea plantations.
• Breakfast with a view of the mountains
  A short stop for rest and breakfast in a picturesque location.
• A train among the tea plantations
  Ride the famous Lankan train, one of the most beautiful train routes in the world.
• Nuwara Eliya
  A mountain town known as «little England». Here you will see colonial architecture and an atmospheric old post office.
• Lunch
  Tea factory and tea plantations
  You'll learn how one of the best teas in the world is grown and produced, and you'll be able to taste different varieties.
• Ambuluwawa
  A unique pagoda tower on top of a mountain with incredible panoramic views of the surrounding valleys.
• Dinner
• Overnight stay
  Accommodation at the cozy Elephant Bay Hotel with swimming pool and river view.
  In the morning, elephants from the Pinnawala Nursery come here to bathe - an incredible sight to watch right from the hotel's terrace.

Day 2

• Breakfast with elephants
  Breakfast on the terrace of the hotel where the elephants approach. You will have the opportunity to feed them fruit and take unique photos.
• Pinnawala Elephant Nursery (optional)
  A visit to the famous nursery where you can see elephants feeding and bathing and take photos alongside them.
• Dambulla Golden Temple
  One of the country's most famous Buddhist temple complexes, carved into the rock and decorated with ancient murals and Buddha statues.
• Monkey feeding
  A short stop where you can feed the monkeys and take interesting photos if possible.
• Lunch
• Climbing Sigiriya
  Sigiriya is an ancient cliff top fortress and one of the symbols of Sri Lanka
• Return to the hotel
  Return to the coast in the late afternoon. The exact time depends on your location.
