Description

Ijen Volcano is one of the most unique places in Indonesia. Here, at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, Kawah Ijen Lake with turquoise water spreads in the crater of the volcano. But the main wonder is the «blue fire», a rare natural phenomenon that can be seen until dawn. And you will also witness the hard manual labor of miners extracting sulfur right on the slopes of the volcano.

Day 1

9:00 - Departure from your hotel lobby.

• Departing Bali - Departure to the west of the island to the port of Gilimanuk.
• Tanah Lot Temple (en route) - a famous temple on a cliff in the ocean. One of the symbols of Bali, especially beautiful against the waves and sunset.
• Bali's Western Forest - A protected area with mangrove trees and a tranquil atmosphere.
• Lunch at a local warung - Simple and delicious Indonesian cuisine (fried chicken and rice).
• Ferry to Java - the crossing takes about one hour. Arrival to Java Island at 17:00-18:00.
• Accommodation in bungalows - rest before the morning climb.

Day 2

• 3:30-4:00 am - Departure to Ijen Volcano. Jeeps will take you to the start of the trail.
• Trekking to Ijen Volcano - The ascent to the crater takes about 1.5-2 hours. You will be accompanied by a local guide (optional).
• Lake Kawah Ijen - a turquoise lake inside a crater at an altitude of over 2,000 meters. A true natural wonder.
• "Blue Fire." - a rare natural phenomenon when sulfur vapor ignites and blue flames burst out of the crater (visible only before dawn).
• Sulphur miners - a unique opportunity to see how sulphur is mined by hand. It's hard and dangerous work, but part of island life.
• Descending the volcano - rest and breakfast.
• Jagir Falls - a beautiful cascading waterfall near the volcano. Here you can swim and refresh yourself.
• Java Beach Vacation - free time before leaving for the ferry.
• Ferry to Gilimanuk port and transfer back to Bali.

18:00 - Return to the hotel.
