Description
Two intense days among unusual landscapes and ancient rock cities. Cappadocia is a region where nature and history have created a unique atmosphere. Narrow tunnels of underground cities, majestic fortresses, valleys with fantastic landscapes and, upon request, a morning hot air balloon flight over all this splendor.
Day 1
2:00 - Check-out from the hotel in Kemer. Transfer to Cappadocia (about 7 hours en route, with stops).
- Breakfast.
- Visit to the underground city of Tatlarin. Open to the public since 1991. Two floors are open: a 15-meter tunnel, kitchens, living quarters, barns and stables.
- Lunch
- Panorama of Ortahisar. The fortress is 86 meters high, towering over the surrounding area.
- Visit to the fortress city Uchkhisar.
- Panoramic stop over the Göreme valley.
- Walking through the rocky town of Chavushin. Here is the church of St. John the Baptist, carved into the rock.
- Check-in at a 4-star hotel.
- Dinner at the hotel (buffet).
- Turkish night (optional). Evening show program with drinks and treats.
Day 2
- At sunrise, a trip to the balloon parade or hot air balloon flight (optional, extra charge).
- Return to the hotel.
- Breakfast.
- Rose Valley Tour (Derwent). Natural rock figures resemble people and animals.
- Visit to the pottery workshop.
- Visit to the onyx processing workshop.
- Lunch
19:00 - Return to the hotel.
